Believers authority: Living in Power, Purpose, and Love — A Message from Apostle Chad Collins Miracle Life

Table of Contents

📣 Introduction — Why I’m Writing About Believers authority

I’m Apostle Chad Collins, and I want to share what the Lord laid on my heart during our recent Sunday morning service. I’m writing this so you can grasp, rehearse, and walk confidently in the believers authority that God has given you. In the message I preached, I unpacked Mark 16 and taught about faith, the signs that follow those who believe, and what it looks like to carry the believers authority into everyday life — into the streets, into homes, into the marketplace and into moments when people need Jesus.

As I write, my heart is full of practical invitations: sign up for our power evangelism events, be part of the team that takes the gospel to Bowling Green and beyond, and prepare for upcoming prophetic and deliverance nights, women’s gatherings, and our pastor appreciation celebration. But beyond events and calendars, my deepest desire is to help you understand the believers authority so that it can shape your identity, grow your faith, and release the power of God through you.

📅 What’s Happening — Events, Dates, and Invitations

I want to begin by making sure you have the dates and locations in your spiritual GPS. We are living in a season of outreach and activation. I’m asking you to join me — not merely as a spectator, but as an equipped, confident believer who knows the believers authority and steps out in it.

  • Power Evangelism Tentative Date

: Friday, September 5 — location: the vacant Hardee's parking lot by Thornton's on Court Avenue. We will gather, preach, pray, deliver, and let the move of God be manifested in the streets. Please sign up at the information desk immediately after service or at the evangelism sign-up area.

  • Women of Excellence — Virtual

: Saturday, August 30 at 11:30 AM Eastern. Mother Collins leads, and Minister Mary Puckett will be speaking this session. This is a time for ladies to be sharpened and to tap into the believers authority as women of faith.

  • Women of Excellence — In Person

: Saturday, September 20 at 11:00 AM Eastern at our Jeffersonville location. We alternate locations to include all of our family across Bowling Green and Jeffersonville, but this month we will gather here to receive prophetic encouragement and worship.

  • Prophetic and Deliverance Service

: Friday, September 12 at 8:00 PM — Bowling Green, 800 Beauty Avenue. Doors open at 6:00 PM. If you need a ride, reach out to me or Minister Cassandra and we will connect you. Prepare to see the believers authority operate in power in deliverance and healing.

  • Pastor Appreciation Celebration

: November 7–9. This is a season to sow and honor. I’m asking you to fill out pledge forms and prepare to honor the leaders the Lord has placed over this ministry. We will celebrate what God has done and what He is about to do.

✍️ How to Sign Up and Serve — Practical Steps

When I make an ask, I want to make the path clear. To participate in the power evangelism and all outreach teams, sign up at the information desk after service. We want to see everyone who feels led show up for training, Saturday walks, Monday outreach nights, and the big tent event in September. The believers authority is not just a teaching; it’s activated in teams and in the streets.

If you’re unsure about joining, come out and follow a more experienced team member on a Saturday or Monday. Feel it out. There’s a different kind of conviction when you see the gospel in action. The believers authority is grown by doing — by preaching, praying, and trusting God to authenticate His Word with signs and wonders.

💬 My Heart on Evangelism and Believers authority

I’m passionate about preaching believers authority because I’ve watched it change lives — mine included. When we preach the gospel in power, the Lord attaches signs to the message as He promised in Mark 16. Speaking about believers authority is not theoretical; it’s the invitation to participate with Jesus in His work. I want every person reading this to believe that you are called to walk in this authority today.

🙌 Testimony: Sowing, Obedience, and Manifest Blessing

One powerful testimony I shared during the service comes from Pastor Don. He talked about sowing into the ministry and how God supernaturally returned provision. Pastor Don had a bill — a taxing issue between Ohio and Kentucky — that amounted to around fifteen hundred dollars. He could have let the weight of that obligation keep him from giving, but he chose to honor the man of God and sow.

He recounted that after he sowed nearly a thousand dollars into the ministry as an act of honor, a woman in the body felt led to give him five hundred dollars the following day. That was not the end. When Pastor Don went to the DMV to pay the taxes, after a short delay he was told that he had credit and the fifteen hundred dollars was resolved without him having to pay. God provided — in a tangible, confirmable way.

I share that testimony because it captures an important principle of the believers authority: when you position yourself in obedience, honor, and faith, God moves in ways that confirm His Word and releases provision, vindication, and favor. The believers authority works not because of our manipulation, but because God responds to faith and obedience.

💸 Giving, Pledges, and Pastor Appreciation — How to Participate

For the Pastor Appreciation celebration (November 7–9), we distributed pledge forms. If you have a pledge form, please fill it out and return it — you don’t have to give the money immediately when you turn in the form, but if you feel led to give now, we welcome that as well. Here are the ways you can sow toward Pastor Appreciation:

  • Cash App: dollar sign MLC Appreciation (as announced during service).

  • PayPal: paypal.me/apostlechad

  • Check: make checks payable to Miracle Life.

  • If you prefer in-person giving, complete an offering envelope and write “Pastor Appreciation” at the top.

When you sow in faith, you’re partnering with the work God has called leaders to do. The believers authority includes a spirit of generosity that honors those who labor in the gospel and positions your life for blessing.

📖 Teaching: Mark 16 and the Foundation of Believers authority

Let’s go to the Scripture that anchors much of what I taught: Mark 16. The passage culminates in a powerful commission from Jesus and a list of signs that follow those who believe. We read in Mark 16 that after Jesus rose, He appeared to the disciples and first addressed their unbelief. Why? Because unbelief chokes out the power God wants to release. The believers authority flows from a heart of faith, not presumption or unbelief.

In Mark 16:14–18, Jesus rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart. Then He gave the Great Commission and attached to it a promise: “These signs will follow those who believe.” Then He listed several things:

  • They will cast out demons.

  • They will speak with new tongues.

  • They will take up serpents.

  • If they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them.

  • They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

This list is not a magic trick checklist. These signs are in line with the preaching of the gospel. The believers authority is always connected to the message — to words of life. When faith receives the Word, God attaches confirmation: signs, wonders, healings, deliverances. I spoke about this in the message because I want every believer to understand that authority is not a badge; it’s an instrument of reconciliation.

🔥 Faith, Doubt, and the Internal Work — Strengthening the Heart

One big point I emphasized is how God deals with the interior of our lives. God often allows us into seasons where He challenges our faith. You might be surprised at what He reveals: places of doubt, presumption, and hardened hearts. I told the congregation: God will confront the internal sins — doubt, unbelief, resignation — because those sins hinder the believers authority.

Faith is the currency of the kingdom. "Faith cometh by hearing" — that’s Romans 10 applied. The believer’s authority is birthed and strengthened by hearing the Word, responding in obedience, and acting in faith. As I preached, I reminded the church that Jesus often asked, “Where is your faith?” when He encountered fragile hearts. If we will steward the Word, listen to God, and act, our faith will increase and the believers authority will be more evident.

🗣️ The Authority Is Connected to the Gospel — Not a Magic Show

It’s crucial to state clearly that the signs listed in Mark 16 are connected to the preaching of the gospel. They are not tricks. They are not a circus act. The believers authority is always attached to the message of salvation. Jesus didn’t say, “Perform these signs for show.” He said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel. These signs will follow those who believe.” The authority belongs to the one who preaches the gospel with faith and compassion.

When you go out in evangelism, carry the Word with you. Let the gospel be central. The Bible promises that when the gospel goes out with faith, God will show up to confirm His Word. That is a massive encouragement: you don’t have to manufacture power. You need to preach Jesus and trust that the believers authority will be manifested through obedience and faith.

🛡️ What the Believers authority Is — A Clear Definition

When I teach about believers authority, I define it simply: believers authority is the God-given mandate for followers of Jesus to act on His behalf with His power, under His Lordship, to bring salvation, freedom, healing, and deliverance to people. It’s not our own might or strategies, but the authority of Christ flowing through a yielded vessel.

Key aspects of the believers authority that I highlight include:

  • Rooted in Christ

    — Authority belongs to Jesus first and is delegated to His followers.

  • Linked to the Word

    — It is released through proclamation of the gospel and Scripture.

  • Activated by Faith

    — Doubt blocks it; faith unlocks it.

  • Expressed in Love

    — The authority is never coercive; it seeks redemption and healing.

  • Confirmed by Signs

    — God demonstrates His presence by signs and wonders following faithful proclamation.

🧭 How to Walk in the Believers authority — Practical Steps

Teaching is only effective when it is practical. Here are steps I taught the congregation — and now I’m laying out for you — so you can apply the believers authority in your daily life.

  1. Stand on the Word

. Carry simple scriptures (Mark 16, Luke 10, Matthew 28). Memorize them. Let your first language be Scripture when addressing sickness, oppression, or spiritual confusion.

  2. Preach the Gospel

. Wherever you go, be prepared to share the hope of Jesus. The believers authority is released most powerfully when it is connected to salvation and reconciliation.

  3. Operate in Love

. Always ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with compassion before you speak. Authority without love looks like control; authority with love looks like healing.

  4. Pray with Expectation

. Expect God to respond. Faith positions you to see miracles. When you pray, pray as if He will act — because He will.

  5. Submit to Leaders

. Honor those God has appointed. Part of walking in the believers authority is recognizing God’s order and partnering with leaders who steward the vision.

  6. Practice in Community

. Join a team, go out on Saturdays or Mondays, and learn from veterans. The believers authority grows in the context of community.

🕊️ How the Holy Spirit Equips Us — Gifts & Empowerment

I taught that the believers authority works through the gifts of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit equips, directs, and empowers us to perform the work Jesus commanded. When you step out to lay hands on the sick or to confront spiritual darkness, rely on the Spirit, not on your own charisma. The Holy Spirit will guide your words and actions, and the believers authority will manifest in ways that honor Jesus.

One of the heartbeats of my ministry is to help people grow in their sensitivity to the Spirit. That’s why we host webinars and training sessions, because the believers authority needs to be paired with discernment, humility, and doctrine that aligns with Scripture.

📚 Upcoming Training & Webinar — Deepening Our Understanding

We offered a recent webinar that stirred many hearts, and I announced more training. Our next webinar focuses on the glory of the Lord and understanding what it means to see Jesus face to face. I believe this teaching is one of the most profound releases of revelation that can reorient your heart to the believers authority. The dates announced are October 4 and October 11. If you missed the previous webinar, don’t miss these. They will deepen your capacity to carry the presence and authority of God.

🤝 Teamwork: Taking the Gospel to Bowling Green and Beyond

Evangelism is not an individual sport. I emphasized that we want Jeffersonville and Bowling Green to labor together. Many from Bowling Green travel here. Now we will travel together. When we move as a united body under the believers authority, supernatural favor and logistical favor often follow. Sign up at the information desk and be part of the team that goes to Bowling Green; be prepared to serve on September 5 and on other outreach dates the Lord gives us.

🗣️ Common Objections and Honest Questions

I’m often asked honest questions in the life of ministry. During the service, I addressed doubt and confusion that people have about authority. Let me bring clarity to a few common objections now:

  • “Is this for everyone?”

    — Yes, the believers authority is given to all who believe in Jesus. The form it takes may vary by gifting, but the assignment to carry the gospel and to expect God to confirm His Word is universal.

  • “Is this safe?”

    — Authority must be stewarded in love and wisdom. We teach and train for safety, discernment, and pastoral oversight. That’s why we encourage joining teams and being disciplined in doctrine.

  • “Will I be judged if I fail?”

    — God is merciful and gracious. Missteps are opportunities to learn. That’s why the community of faith and leaders exist — to mentor, correct, and restore.

🛠️ Practical Tools I Gave the Church

During the service I reminded everyone of some very practical items we use in ministry. I encourage you to use these tools faithfully:

  • Keep a simple Scripture list

    — Mark 16, Luke 10, Matthew 28, healing scriptures like Isaiah 53 and Psalm 103.

  • Carry a testimony journal

    — When signs follow, record them. Testimonies build faith and equip others.

  • Be ready to share the gospel in one minute

    — Have a short, winsome testimony and the gospel encapsulated so you can share the hope of Christ quickly and clearly.

  • Sign up at the information desk

    — We need committed people for planning and practical support. The believers authority increases when we mobilize as teams.

🙏 The Role of Worship and Praise in Activating Authority

We opened with powerful praise and worship, and I spoke about the atmosphere praise creates. Worship positions our hearts to receive from God. Before we act in authority, we must remember that authority flows out of relationship. When we have praise on our lips and Jesus in our hearts, the believers authority is a natural outpouring — not an act of manipulation.

Praise prepares us to see God move. It dissolves fear. It softens hardened hearts and invites the Holy Spirit’s presence. I encouraged the congregation to make worship a lifestyle if they want the believers authority to be a steady reality rather than a sporadic experience.

🧩 How Leadership and Honor Fit into the Believers authority

During the service, I emphasized sowing and honoring leaders. Pastor Don testified about how honoring leadership opened doors for provision. Honoring leaders is not about personality or politics; it’s about recognizing God’s order. When you honor leaders, you partner with their spiritual covering, and often the believers authority is released through those structures.

I encourage you to fill out pledge forms for Pastor Appreciation. Whether you give now or pledge to give later, the act of honoring leaders is an act of faith linked to the believers authority. God applauds hearts that support His servants and provides for households that obey generosity principles rooted in Scripture.

📣 Encouragement — What to Do This Week

If you’re wondering what practical next steps look like, start here. These are the things I asked our church to do immediately after the service and that I ask you to do now:

  1. Sign up

at the information desk for power evangelism and outreach teams.

  2. Attend training webinars

(October 4 and 11) to deepen your understanding of the glory and presence of the Lord that empowers the believers authority.

  3. Join a community group

or prayer team that practices praying for the sick, sharing testimonies, and declaring the gospel.

  4. Fill out your Pastor Appreciation pledge

and submit it in the offering or online via the methods posted.

  5. Pray for boldness

    — ask God for increased faith and the willingness to be inconvenienced by obedience.

🔁 Repeatable Rhythms to Grow in the Believers authority

Authority grows by repetition. Here are rhythms I recommend you adopt to cultivate a life marked by the believers authority:

  • Daily Word Time

    — Start your day with Scripture and prayer. Let the Word saturate your heart so faith can arise.

  • Weekly Evangelism

    — Join a Saturday or Monday outreach team. Repetition builds confidence and skill.

  • Monthly Accountability

    — Meet with a mentor or leader to review how you exercised authority and what you learned.

  • Yearly Celebration

    — Participate in prophetic nights, conferences, and appreciation events to recharge and receive prophetic direction.

🫶 A Final Word on Humility, Expectation, and the Believers authority

I want to close with a pastoral exhortation: walk in humility and go with expectation. The believers authority is not a tool to puff you up. It is a means by which God elevates Jesus and demonstrates His compassion. Humility keeps us dependent on the Holy Spirit; expectation keeps us bold in faith. Together, they make the believers authority a powerful, life-giving reality.

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel... these signs will follow those who believe." — Mark 16

Go into all the world and preach the gospel... these signs will follow those who believe." — Mark 16

✨ My Personal Invitation

I invite you to step forward with me. Sign up, show up, and be trained. Join us September 5 for the power evangelism event; come to the prophetic and deliverance service September 12 in Bowling Green; participate in Women of Excellence on August 30 and September 20; and prepare your heart for Pastor Appreciation November 7–9. Each of these moments is an opportunity to practice the believers authority in real time.

If you are unfamiliar with walking in authority, start small: proclaim a healing scripture over a friend, pray for a neighbor, or join a team and follow someone more experienced. The believers authority grows more by obedience than by study alone.

📣 Final Practical Reminders

  • Sign-up sheets are at the information desk; if you haven’t signed up, do so today.

  • For Pastor Appreciation pledges, use the offering envelopes or online giving methods listed earlier.

  • Travel support and ride-sharing are available for those who need transport to Bowling Green or other events — contact me or Minister Cassandra.

  • Keep a testimony journal and share your stories with us; testimonies encourage the whole body and build faith for others to exercise the believers authority.

🕊️ Closing Prayer and Blessing

I close with a pastoral blessing over you: may God increase your faith, enlarge your territory of influence, and give you boldness to preach the gospel. May the believers authority rest upon you like a mantle, releasing healing, freedom, and salvation. I believe God will confirm His Word as you obediently preach, pray, and love your neighbor.

Remember the words I shared in the service: faith is primary. When God challenges you in the secret places of your heart, receive that as an invitation to grow. The believers authority will not be a burden but a joy as you see lives changed and heaven invaded through the gospel.

📬 Stay Connected

Keep in touch with us for more training, events, and resources. We are building a culture of activation, teaching, and demonstration. If you want to grow in believers authority, come to our webinars, join a team, and ask for mentorship. I want to walk with you.

🛐 My Final Charge

As I often say: don’t just be a weekend observer — be an active participant. The believers authority is meant to be lived out daily, and I’m asking you to step into it now. Sign up, train, give, and expect God to move. He is faithful to those who believe and act.

Thank you for reading. I look forward to seeing you at the next outreach, webinar, or service. Let us move together in faith, empowered by the believers authority, bringing hope and healing to a world that desperately needs Jesus.
